N.K. Jemisin
Orbit Books, a client that I've worked with on a number of projects, approached me to redesign the site of one of their authors who has a book coming out later this year. We went with a softer, more feminie look to match the feel of the book.

I love this design; it's simple and elegant and easy on the eyes, and groups all the most important information right at the top of the front page. It's neat on the back end, too; even though I'm not an expert by far, I was able to find the relevant bits of code easily and tweak them when I needed to. And when I couldn't fix something myself, Tony popped in to fix it for me -- unasked, on a weekend. Fantastic designer!
