A great way to earn a lot of traffic, especially if you have a good design. It just travels through the rest of the design galleries, and it grows into more traffic. Nicely designed and communicated well. Second, as a fellow web developer and as someone obsessed with analytics and web marketing, I have found these bursts in site traffic to be almost useless. I say that because many times the people trolling these design galleries are designers and developers (like me). This is traffic that likely won't produce any business. Is it good for something, sure...brand/name recognition. Possibly a referral. Just my two cents. First, great site. Nicely designed and communicated well.
